Pantotum is an hybrid installation, a VR experience built in Unreal Engine 5, and the (de)materialization of a long conversation where all ideas and opinions were seen as possible and valid starting points in the creation of a –seemingly– senseless 3D universe where multiple concepts blended together in a single place. An exploration on the narrative possibilities of the non-sensical, the absurd, randomness, language and the uses and misuses of technology.
Via an aberrated physical arcade of Cronenbergian proportions, visitors where invited establish connection with the Pantotum and take a 4’20” trip into a strange landscape full of giant anthropomorphic rats, burning match-people, mutant nepenthes, cheese towers and toxic neon seas.
